A taxi to the airport from the centre costs Bs. 50 or you can catch a minibus from El Prado for Bs. 4.
Coming down to the city centre from the airport you can catch one of the airport taxis or the minibus which will take you along the main thoroughfare to end on the Plaza Isabel La Catolica.
There is a restaurant, numerous coffee shops, souvenir shops, tourist info and bureau de change, an internet café along with several ATMs.
Santa Cruz - VVI (Viru Viru International airport in the city of Santa Cruz) is 16km from the centre.

Minibuses to the city (30 mins.) cost Bs. 5 and end at the statue of Christ the Redeemer. Taxis cost Bs. 55 to the centre.
There is a cafe, a sandwich bar, internet and phone centre, tourist info and a bureau de change.

A taxi to the airport or from the airport to the centre costs Bs. 25 and takes 10 mins. The airport is roomy with a good internet connection, expensive sandwiches and coffee and TVs liberally dotted around.
