LOMA CHUCHINI The Jaguar's Den lies in an area teeming with these creatures. It is an ancient Paititi site and is built on one of the 20,000 mounds hat make up the Moxos agricultural and hydraulic system. There is an archeological museum on site containing over 10,000 pieces. Ecological walks take you to other mounds through jungle home to alligators, a myriad of birds (90 species), 15 species of fish and over 100 flora - ferns being especially abundant here.
