MUSEUMS MUSEO DE LA VIRGEN DE COPACABANA Inside the Churche of Copacabana
MUSEO DEL PONCHO Calle Tito Yupanqui / Costanera If you’re passing through Copacabana with a bit of time to spare, this new museum has a collection of antique textiles that is worth a visit. The small exhibition features a range of antique ponchos from various regions, as well as other artefacts. Still in the process of construction, at present the museum lacks printed information but the exhibits are impressive examples of Bolivian weaving skills and the guide is very willing to answer queries. The museum shop offers a substantial range of antique and modern items for sale. Marly McLeod
