The guide could not speak English at all, which caused communication problems. Considering the price, the tour did not offer good value for money. I would recommend joining a daytime tour instead, as it allows you to see”

This could happen to you as well, especially if you are planning to end in Chile.”

“Brian was a great guide, answering our many questions and going above and beyond to ensure we had the best time (he even stopped on the way back to Uyuni in the evening to help us get great photos of the stars). We stopped at the train cemetery and learnt about the salt making process in a village outside the salt flats - not essential but great extras. The biggest highlight was of course the salt flats - we had a lovely lunch together on the salt flats, visited the salt maze and monuments and ended with some wine at sunset. Cannot recommend enough!”

Tras la visita al cementerio de trenes, nos informaron que las camionetas habían sido reservadas de forma privada por otro grupo y solo nos dieron la opción de unirnos a ellos, aunque tenían un itinerario distinto y no visitarían los lugares turísticos. Fue frustrante, ya que un reembolso no me servía al viajar solo por el salar y regresar el mismo día. Finalmente, nos organizamos entre los participantes, pero un vehículo se dañó y, además, no me llevaron al laberinto del salar porque el otro grupo no quiso.
